Barely less than 24 hours after we reported the incident at the Accountant General of the Federation office’s inferno at Abuja, Sofo can confirm that Lagos Airport Hotel is currently on fire. Firefighters and other emergency responders are battling with putting off the inferno as at the time of filing this report.
While reacting to the incident, the Lagos State Fire Service says some vehicles in the premises of the Lagos Airport Hotel were gutted by fire and not the hotel. According to the information gathered by Sofo, the fire originated from some of the cars in the premises of Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja on Thursday evening which later resulted into the fire outbreak.
If you have loved ones in the area, this is the best time to call them and be sure they are safe. Also, if you or anyone you know takes this route, please tell them to kindly avoid it for now. You can contribute your own quota to make everyone aware.
