Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi said that the traditional cure for coronavirus had reached an advanced stage and would be made available to the public very soon.
The sovereign disclosed this while speaking with press in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, shortly after he donated two powered modular fumigators to the state government.
The sovereign further said,”we are going to proffer solution to fight coronavirus.
“Before this pandemic came out, we have actually announced to the entire world from what we inherited from our forefather’s.
“We came out very clear about the cure, the immune booster and the solution to a large extent was presented to us and we did what we are supposed to do ,but the probably didn’t hear us.
“It is unfortunately that the international countries are reaching out to us on this our solution but our local people are not reaching out to us.
“And we have testimonies a lot from people that have this virus and we have also used it to heal them.
“It is a natural herbal and it is very effective.
Oba Ogunwusi, stated further that the donation of the powered fumigators was his own contribution to the state government’s efforts at fighting against the virus, said that he had gone far in working with the traditional medicine practitioners in the country to ensure a solution for the virus.
He said though scientific solutions were being sought globally to end the pandemic, traditional medicine and solutions must also be considered and embraced as a way out of COVID-19.
The Ooni of Ife, therefore, urged the Federal Government to emulate Madagascar in its search to use local herbs in combating Coronavirus, declaring that local herbs have the capability to heal victims of the virus.
In his statement’s, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun commended the monarch for the gesture and assured him that the fumigators would be put to good use.
Governor Dapo Abiodun said the state was open to ideas and activities capable of finding a solution to the virus.
