You can now get help with assessing your COVID-19 status or reporting a COVID-19 case through your phone. Dial *723*19*6# or call 014400028. No internet required. This service is provided courtesy of E’clat Healthcare Limited.

SOFO.ng has learned that Oyo state government has released a USSD Code for COVID19 testing across the state.

The government, in their bid to always stay on top of looking for the efficient and expeditious means to report the Covid-19 case, Oyo state government released the USSD code for testing Covid-19 incidents in Ibadan.

Many responded in the state are responding positively to the development while applauding the governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for always stepping ahead in curbing the further spread of the virus across the state.

As we are informed, Oyo State government has been working on different ways o curb the virus by introducing initiatives that help the citizens get tested and have quick access to medical facilities.

Out of the 36 states of the nation, the state boasts itself of going against the norm of locking down its entire operations in order to prevent the virus, but instead, opted for partial lockdown, the decision which have proved to be impressive in reducing the number of casualties. By introducing curfew between 7PM to 6AM everyday, people can easily go about their daily business activities within the hours allowed and obey the restriction order within the late hours of the night.
