The Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, on Tuesday lost his mother, Kakah Hajja, to a brief illness in Borno state, SOFO.NG has learned.
A family source confirmed to SOFO.NG that the late Hajja died at her home in Maiduguri, Borno State after a brief illness.
“Yes I can confirm to you that she is dead“
He confirmed that plans had already been in place for the burial rites.
“She passed away this evening and will be buried tomorrow morning by 8am. May her soul rest in peace.”
