
Achraf Hakimi has joined Inter Millan from Real Madrid on a five year deal.
The Moroccan full back has had an impressive loan spell in Borussia Dortmund from Real Madrid.
The full back joined Spanish champions Real Madrid academy in 2006, played only 17 matches for the senior team.
Inter Millan announced this via the club’s official website on Thursday.
The statement read as thus, “Achraf Hakimi is officially an Inter player”.
“The Moroccan, who was born in 1998, has joined the Nerazzurri on a permanent basis from Real Madrid and has signed a contract which will last until 30 June 2025.”
The left back this season for Borussia Dortmund scored 5 goals alongside 10 assists in 33 matches across all competitions.
Real Madrid in a statement on their website read, “The club wants to thank Achraf for all these years of dedication, professionalism and exemplary behaviour since he came to our academy in 2006 and wishes him good luck in his new phase.”
Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan got the signature of the 21 year old for £36.3m (€40m) despite interest from English side Manchester City and German champions Bayern Munich.
